A letter from the founder · Spring 2026

I opened Velora because most of what I had been seeing in the city was loud, and most of what I had been hearing from patients was that the loud places had made them tired.

So the practice was built quietly. A short menu instead of a long one. Long consultations instead of fast ones. A room in a townhouse on Cumberland instead of a floor in a tower.

We will not treat what does not need to be treated. We will photograph what we do treat, before and after, in the same light, so that the work answers for itself.

If any of this sounds like the practice you have been looking for, the door is open.

Four things we hold to · The Pillars

How the practice runs.

I

Slow craft.

We hold full hours, never thirty-minute windows. Care that feels rushed is care that compromises.

II

Quiet calm.

No bright lights, no clinical buzz. Yorkville sunlight, oak walls, and the same playlists we make for ourselves.

III

Open candor.

If a treatment will not move the needle, we will say so. Transparency is the only foundation worth building on.

IV

Considered care.

Plans are written before anything is opened. You leave with a map, not a memory of a sales pitch.

The first hour is on us.
